Beva Build – Intumescent Coating to Steel Portal Frame

Fire Tech Coatings UK Ltd were appointed to carry out specialist intumescent fire protection works to a structural steel portal frame for the Beva Build project in Rochdale. The scope of works included surface preparation and the application of a certified intumescent coating system to the steel frame, achieving the required fire resistance period in accordance with project specifications and relevant British Standards. All works were completed by trained operatives using airless spray application methods, with full quality control, thickness monitoring, and strict adherence to health and safety procedures. The project was delivered efficiently, on programme, and to a high professional standard.
